The dermal-epidermal junction is a complex structure that joins the dermis and the epidermis. Various key components interact to strengthen the DEJ’s structure, such as laminin 5 and type IV collagen.

By acting on the DEJ and dermis, ACTIMP® helps inhibit MMP1, 9, 3, prevent photoaging, increase the dermis-epidermis cohesion, promote the expression of collagens I, II, III and fight against loss of the skin’s firmness and elasticity.
